To be fair, I haven't watched Brokeback Mountain yet so I don't know if it deserved to win, but either way, I'm thrilled that Crash won.
Thrilled because the win sends a message that you don't have to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to make a film that people will appreciate.
Thrilled because it's really a good movie with a good message to impart.
Thrilled because I can honestly say that, ehem, Eric and I watched (and appreciated) this movie way before it generated Oscar buzz.
Nest stop: Now who wants to watch Brokeback Mountain with me?
