Ran into a former officemate at the mall yesterday.... I haven't seen her for years, she even had to remind me who she was because I totally drew a blank when she called me. When I finally recognized her, the first thing I blurted out was, "Hi! Wow, are you pregnant?"
"No, I'm just fat," she laughed.
Argh, that was embarrassing, My only defense was that she really did look preggy. Promise.
It's been 24 hours now but I still cringe at the thought of how tactless I was. So excuse me while I go and knock my head against the wall again.
